Kelly Monaco returns after Sam McCall’s death

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that although Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) passed away during the Wednesday, October 30, show, this won’t be the last time fans see the character in the land of Port Charles. A new report reveals that the character will make one final appearance.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall’s Final Farewell

According to a report from Us Weekly, Sam McCall will make his final appearance on GH sometime this week. Perhaps ghost Sam is watching over her loved ones, or contacting someone, or several people, for a final farewell.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) proposed to Sam right after she came out of the operating room, so there’s a chance she’ll visit him.

On the other hand, JaSam fans are longing for some closure between her and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so there’s always the possibility that the iconic supercouple will get one last moment together.

Either way, fans should stay tuned to the soap because Wednesday, October 30, won’t be the last hurray for Sam, as Kelly Monaco is officially leaving GH after twenty years on the show.

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall’s death was emotional

Since Kelly’s departure from the show was announced in September, GH fans have been waiting for the final shoe to drop.

It was shocking to many viewers to discover that not only had Kelly been let go, but that her character would also be killed off. Although characters are never truly dead in the land of daytime drama, Sam’s death is final as it becomes.

During the show on Wednesday, October 30 Sam and her mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), were laughing and hugging each other, celebrating her engagement news, when she turned pale white and doctors had to be called to her room.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) rushed into Sam’s room to help Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) bring Sam back to life.

Despite many attempts with heart shocks and chest compressions, Sam’s time of death was reluctantly given by Lucas as 5:48 PM, after 30 minutes of trying.

As sad as the fans are, the silver lining in all of this is that Sam will have some closure in Port Charles later this week.
