Man accused of sharing nude photos of children

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A man is facing several charges after Jonesboro police say he sent nude photos of a student to others.

On October 31, officers responded to a large altercation at Success School.

After separating and investigating the incident, the affidavit stated that officers learned that a 16-year-old had sent nude photos to 18-year-old Jaderius Hare.

The affidavit stated that Hare “distributed the image by allowing three other people to take a photo of the nude image.”

The other young people then sent the image to others via Snapchat.

When officers approached Hare, he said he did not have the image on his cell phone. Officers have seized all mobile phones and are awaiting investigation.

The affidavit stated that because Hare was 18, he was taken into custody and taken to the Craighead County Detention Center.

Craighead County District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge Hare with distributing possession and viewing material depicting sexual conduct involving a child.

Hare is being held on a $35,000 cash bond.

His next court hearing is scheduled for December 17.
