KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An investigation into the theft of a Waldo business that lost $60,000 worth of rare collectibles in mid-October continues.

The Kansas City, Missouri, police says law enforcement officers were called to Waldo T-Shirts at 1111 E. 73rd St. the week of Oct. 18 with reports of theft.

When first responders arrived, they said they found valuable collector’s cards of Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky, antique comic books, laptops and autographed sports T-shirts, all stolen from the local business.

In total, investigators said nearly $60,000 worth of rare goods was taken.

As of Nov. 1, KCPD said no suspects have been arrested in the case. Detectives continue to investigate. Anyone with information about the crime should report it to KCPD at 816-413-3406.
