Suspect in brass knuckle attack on Gilbert In-N-Out sentenced to prison

PHOENIX (AZFamily) – One of the suspects convicted in a high-profile East Valley teen abuse case was sentenced Friday.

Tyler Allan Freeman, 18, will spend nearly three years in prison for aggravated assault in connection with an attack in the parking lot of a Gilbert In-N-Out restaurant in December 2022 where he and other teens jumped and punched another boy with brass knuckles.

Freeman is also accused of another attack at a party in 2022 at a home near Higley and Riggs in Gilbert.

Police say he also used brass knuckles there when he jumped a teenage boy.
