Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn Brum will reportedly reconcile their marriage after the Foo Fighters star admitted he secretly fathered a baby with another woman.

In September, the rocker shocked fans with a statement on Instagram revealing that he had cheated on his wife with an unnamed woman and was fighting to regain his family’s trust.

Although he wrote, “We are grateful for your consideration of all the children involved as we move forward together,” it was reported that he had retained a divorce attorney before the announcement.

The 55-year-old and Jordyn were also photographed several times without their wedding rings, suggesting they were headed for divorce.

Despite this, new reports suggest that the musician is focused on resolving issues with his family and that divorce is off the table for now.

According to a source via People: “He is no longer working with a divorce attorney and is instead hoping to reach a resolution with his wife.”

A second source added that Dave “loves his family” and that he “prioritizes his family. He knows he messed up.

“It’s one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have until you’re about to lose it. He doesn’t want to lose his family.”

After marrying Jordyn in 2003, the couple welcomed daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

In the shocking announcement, Dave wrote that he planned to “be a loving and supportive parent” to his “new baby girl.”

He added, “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

Although the couple has not publicly discussed the state of their marriage, multiple sources told the newspaper that Jordyn, co-founder of an interior design firm, had known about the baby “for a while.”
