Veteran actor-director Charuhasan, and brother of South superstar Kamal Haasan, recently underwent surgery after suffering a fall before Diwali. His daughter Suhasini took to Instagram and shared her father’s health update with all his fans and admirers. She dropped a series of photos and images that showed their Diwali was spent in the hospital emergency room. In a video, Suhasini was seen talking to her father and asking him to leave a message before undergoing the surgery. Charuhasan told his family members, “I am fine. I’ll come back to see you. I’m ready for the procedure. I’ll be fine.”

The post was accompanied by a caption that read: “Midnight before Deepavali we had fallen. Our Deepavali was in a state of emergency. He’s doing well.”
