CAIR estimates there are 2.5 million Muslim voters in the US

If the poll is correct, this could seriously complicate Vice President Harris’ path to the White House.

The critical swing state of Michigan is home to more than 240,000 Muslims.

Many of their leaders, such as Rep. Rashida Tlaib, have refused to support Harris’ campaign.

“These findings are certainly concerning for Harris given how close the race is in this state. If Harris can have an advantage in this state comparable to Biden’s 2020 margin (150,000 votes), she can still hold on, but if she underperforms with black voters, as the polls suggest, losing this one would voters can be decisive,” said pollster. Carly Cooperman told The Post.

The poll found that another 5.6% of Muslims said they planned to stay home.

Chase Oliver of the Libertarian party and Cornel West of the Justice for All party each received less than 1% support.

The survey of 1,449 verified Muslim voters from across the United States was conducted from October 30 to October 31.

“This latest national poll of Muslim American voters confirms that our community members are deeply invested in the 2024 election, with 95 percent saying they plan to vote,” Nihad Awad, national executive director of CAIR, said in a statement.

Stein has focused much of her race on opposing Israel’s war in Gaza and supporting Hamas, a message that has clearly resonated.

About 57% of American Muslims said they believed Hamas was “justified in attacking Israel as part of their struggle for a Palestinian state,” according to a report. Cygnal research taken shortly after the October 7 massacre.

Awad – an old anti-Semite who once stated that Hamas attack made him “happy” – said the conflict between Israel and Gaza “continues to play an important role in influencing the preferences of Muslim voters.”

CAIR was once mentioned as an unindicted co-conspirator in illegal fundraising for Hamas terrorists.
