Harrison Ford endorses Kamala Harris

With three days left until the presidential elections election, Harrison Ford gets the vote for Kamala Harris And Tim Walz.

On Saturday, the Academy Award nominee announced his support for the Democratic nominee and her running mate in two heartfelt video statements explaining why others should also vote for the vice president.

“I’m Harrison Ford and I’m doing something I never thought I would do: telling people I’ve never met who I’m voting for and why I think they would do the same,” he said in a video for Rolling stone. “This election I am casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Do I agree with all their policies? Of course not. Do I think they are perfect? Come on, for crying out loud, they’re people like you and me.

“But these two people believe in the rule of law. They believe in science. They believe that when you govern, you govern for all Americans. They believe we are in this together. These are ideas I believe in. These are people I can get behind. Look, I’m frustrated about a lot of things in this country. I’m sure you are too. But the other man pitted us against each other for four years, embracing dictators and tyrants around the world. That’s not who we are. We don’t need to “make America great again.” Come on, we’re great. What we need is to work together again. What we need is a president who works for all of us again,” Ford said.

In a second video, Ford drew attention to Trump’s former staff, who have since spoken out against him. “When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding the alarm and saying, ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ you should pay attention. They’re telling us something important,” he said.

Ford noted that many of them are voting against the Republican Party for the first time “because they know it really matters”: “Kamala Harris will protect your right to disagree with her on policies or ideas. And then, as we have done for centuries, we will debate it, work on it together, and then move on. The other man, he demands unconditional loyalty, says he wants revenge. I’m Harrison Ford. I have one vote, just like everyone else, and I’m going to use it to move forward. I’m going to vote for Kamala Harris.”

The Shrink The star’s endorsement comes as Harris makes one last attempt to sway undecided voters, concluding her historic $370 million paid media campaign with ‘A better future‘, an ad that ran on CBS and Fox during the NFL games at 1pm ET on Saturdays.

Formerly Ford supported Joe Biden during his 2020 campaign against Trump.
