The girl was on a track designated for electric all-terrain vehicles and was struck by another child who was also riding an all-terrain motorcycle, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

The other child was treated at the scene for minor injuries and Brooke was taken to a hospital where she later died.

According to a statement posted to the park’s Instagram account on Saturdaythe owner of the property has canceled the agreement.

“It was their decision that it would be in their best interests to close the track,” the statement said.

“Although there have been many challenges along the way, we have enjoyed working on the track. I believe we have been very lucky to have such a great group of customers and great people working at the track. It was an honor and a pleasure to see you all on the track.”

A gathering is planned for Sunday for a final drive through the park.
