US Army investigators are looking for a deserter who may be heading to Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) – U.S. Army investigators believe a deserter, who may be armed, is headed to Colorado.

Sergeant David Johnson was last seen in Texas on October 26. He is 6 feet tall and has blue eyes.

The military is now offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to his finding.

Detectives warn if you see him that you should not approach him, but rather call the police as he may be armed with deadly weapons.

While investigators currently believe Johnson is headed to Colorado, they have no definitive proof Johnson is headed to the Centennial State.

This is an open investigation. Other details cannot be provided by the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division at this time.
