UAE Announces Immediate Cancellation of Emsat for Grade 12 Students – News

UAE authorities have announced the immediate cancellation of EmSAT for Grade 12 students and the implementation of revised university admission criteria.

The authority said admissions to medical and engineering programs will now prioritize students’ science subject marks over overall percentage scores.

The decision aims to facilitate a seamless transition to higher education, allowing students to pursue their future ambitions both during their academic and career paths, the ministry added. This move will give universities additional flexibility in setting admissions criteria, allowing students to pursue a variety of academic paths.
