Chester man charged by Darby Township with selling fentanyl

A Chester man has been charged by Darby Township police with selling fentanyl in the community.

On Wednesday, Jamar L. Robinson, 38, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Robinson sold fentanyl in the township on several occasions. County officers working with the assistance of the Delaware County Drug Task Force arrested Robinson, police said.

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael A. Burns and committed to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% bail of $350,000. Robinson will have a preliminary hearing before District Judge Walter A. Strohl on November 13.
