Dallas Cowboys vs Falcons inactive list: Defense falls short again

After two consecutive losses, the Dallas Cowboys We’re trying to get back on track in week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons.

They head into Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a 3-1 road record, meaning all of their wins this year have come away from home. While that should give them some confidence, they are playing a talented Atlanta team with a dominant ground game.

Dallas has had a lot of trouble stopping the run, which will make this a tough matchup for them, especially since they are so thin on defense. They knew they would go into the weekend without two key defenders Micah Parsons And Da Ron Bland injured. They also won’t have Ezekiel Elliott on offense, who was left behind disciplinary reasons.

One of the biggest questions heading into Sunday was whether or not Trevon Diggs would suit up. The star cornerback hurt his calf in the loss to San Francisco and despite Jerry Jones saying he had a muscle tear, Diggs traveled and was a game-time decision.

Dallas announced Diggs would be active a few hours before kick-off after successfully testing his calf during the warm-up. With that concern out of the way, let’s take a look at who will be inactive in Week 9 for both the Cowboys and Falcons.
