Pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Kentwood on Sunday

KENTWOOD, Mich. – Someone was hit and killed in Kentwood on Sunday evening.

Kentwood Police responded to the intersection of 32nd St. and Pheasant Ridge Dr. on Sunday around 6:50 p.m. due to a traffic accident involving a pedestrian and a car.

According to KPD, emergency responders attempted to save the person but were pronounced dead at the scene.

KDP says the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No other serious injuries were reported.
