FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A driver is dead after his car rolled over in Fresno County.

Just after 3 a.m. this morning, California Highway Patrol officers were called to McKinley Avenue, just east of Blythe.

Investigators say a 32-year-old man was driving an Alfa Romeo sedan eastbound on McKinley when he turned right off the roadway.

At that point, the car crashed into several brick pillars and two fences, causing the car to overturn.

Police say the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car.

He died on the spot.

It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
