Jodhpur laboratory worker ECG YouTube tutorial video – Jodhpur lab worker performs ECG on patient while watching viral YouTube tutorial video

A video of a laboratory worker performing an ECG (electrocardiogram) scan on a patient after learning the procedure from YouTube at a hospital in Jodhpur in Rajasthan has gone viral on social media.

The video showed the attendant performing an ECG on the patient while watching the YouTube tutorial on his phone at the Satellite Hospital in Paota.

Despite the patient and his family repeatedly asking for a doctor or qualified personnel, the hospital worker continued to perform the ECG, seemingly unconcerned. The man watched YouTube tutorials in silence even while video of the incident was being recorded, showing a shocking disregard for proper medical protocol.

The person who filmed the video claimed that the nursing staff was also involved. The attendant, meanwhile, admitted that he did not know how to perform an ECG, but explained that since there were no employees on duty due to Diwali, he was forced to try the procedure himself.

After the video went viral on social media, director BS Jodha of the affiliated medical college said the incident is under investigation. He confirmed that appropriate action will be taken against those responsible.
