MK Stalin lashes out at actor-politician Vijay over allegations against DMK – Tamil Nadu News

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin on Monday, November 4, responded to actor and politician Vijay’s accusation against the ruling party.

Stalin was speaking at an event in Kolathur constituency, Chennai, when he leveled Vijay’s accusation.

During the executive council meeting of his party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam on Sunday, 26 resolutions were passed. The most important were those of him and his party against ‘One nation, one election’ and ‘NEET’.

During the meeting, the actor-turned-politician also stated that the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu was not given due importance to benefit a few. He also alleged that the DMK’s election manifesto was full of lies with the motive to seize power.

Stalin refuted these accusations, saying that most election promises had been fulfilled. “Some say our government has done nothing. They should all see this, no matter what party they are. Whatever promises we have made, we have fulfilled them and the remaining promises will be implemented soon,” Prime Minister Stalin said in his speech.

The Chief Minister said Tamil Nadu performed well in all growth-related data released by the Union government, thanks to the Dravidian model of governance.

“Those who form new parties want the destruction of DMK. I would humbly tell them to reflect on the success of the four-year government. Anna always said in one sentence: “Long live the critics” and this is what I want to say. I don’t care (about the criticism), our job is to work in the interest of the people. We don’t have to react unnecessarily to anyone,” Stalin said.
