Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 1, which hit theaters on September 27, has had a successful theatrical run across the country. The film is the South superstar’s first solo project in six years and also features actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in important roles. A month after its release, the Koratala Siva directorial is reportedly all set to hit OTT from the first week of November. According to a Filmfare report, Devara Part 1 will have a grand OTT release on Netflix on November 8 and will be available to watch in multiple languages ​​including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. While the news has made fans excited and happy, the makers or the streaming giant are yet to confirm the same.

Within five weeks of its release, the Jr NTR film has collected nearly Rs 300 crore in India, with the maximum collections coming from Telugu screenings. The film opened to a whopping Rs 82.5 crore and has earned Rs 291.45 crore so far. On the other hand, the film’s overseas collection has taken the numbers to a total of Rs 421 crore.

Devara: Part 1 received critical acclaim for its action sequences, visual effects and Jr NTR’s compelling dual roles as Vara and Devara. The story follows Devara Rao as he continues his late father’s mission to fight smuggling in their coastal village, confronting his father’s enemy, Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan).

It opened in multiple languages ​​including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, and received a strong reception at the box office amid its own challenges due to other Diwali releases and criticism. Besides the main trio, the film also features Shruti Marathe, Zarina Wahab, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Murali Sharma.
