Royal Orchid is opening its third hotel in Madhya Pradesh, targeting the travel boom to the state

Royal Orchid Hotels Limited (ROHL) today launched its new property “Regenta Place Gwalior” in Madhya Pradesh, marking its third facility in the state. Located 7 kilometers from the city’s transport hub and 20 kilometers from the airport, the 39-room hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers.

The shares of Royal Orchid Hotels Limited (ROHL) were trading at ₹325.05 at 2.05 pm today, up ₹3.45 or 1.07 per cent on the NSE.

The property features three room categories ranging from 250 to 320 square meters, along with amenities such as an all-day restaurant, poolside lounge bar and conference facilities. The rooms offer views of the historic Gwalior Fort.

The expansion comes as Madhya Pradesh experiences significant growth in tourism, with visitor numbers rising from 34.1 million in 2022 to 112.2 million in 2023. The state has 12 national parks, 25 sanctuaries, 7 tiger reserves and 14 UNESCO world heritage sites.

“The state is witnessing a remarkable increase in tourism and ROHL will fuel this growth by further supporting tourists in discovering the hidden gems of the state,” said Chander K. Baljee, Chairman and Managing Director of ROHL.

Royal Orchid Hotels currently operates over 107 properties in India under various brands including Regenta, Regenta Central, Regenta Resort, Regenta Place and Regenta Inn.
