LSP Investigating Officer Involved Shooting; 2 people injured

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Louisiana State Police Troopers are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Sunday, November 3.

LSP detectives responded to investigate the shooting around 8:30 p.m. It happened on Brownlee Street near College Drive in Baton Rouge.

Two people were injured and taken to a hospital with serious injuries, officials said. No officers were injured in the incident.

Investigators are working to process the scene and obtain more information. The Louisiana State Police Crime Lab assisted in processing the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
