VCC announces Saturday, December 14 as date for 23rd annual Breakfast with Santa event – The Vicksburg Post

The Vicksburg Convention Center (VCC) and VenuWorks of Vicksburg have announced that the 23rd annual Breakfast with Santa event will take place on Saturday, December 14 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. This year’s event will include activities for the whole family, including a visit and photo with Santa, crafts, door prizes, a McDonald’s breakfast, raffle and more.

Santa Claus will be giving away bags of toys and electronics to the lucky raffle winner.

Tickets and space are limited. Breakfast tickets cost $7 in advance and $10 on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or at the Vicksburg Convention Center box office. Raffle tickets for Santa’s bag can be purchased in advance at the VCC business office or during breakfast ($1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5). Lottery winners must be present to win. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mississippi, an organization that improves the well-being of children and families through programs that provide comfort, compassion and care. Ronald McDonald House opened on May 1, 1989 and is located on the campus of the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The home serves as a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving specialized medical care throughout the Jackson metro area.

The annual event is sponsored by McDonald’s, Bella La Vita Photography, Maynord Landscaping, Inc., Golding Barge Line, Inc. and numerous community volunteers who assist and support the production of the event.
