Harris County teen killed in TC Jester shooting

A teenager was killed after a shooting at an apartment complex in northern Harris County on Sunday evening.

The shooting was reported in the 14000 block of TC Jester around 9:30 p.m.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say some residents were outside and heard the gunshots and a vehicle driving away, but they did not see a suspect or the vehicle. There is currently no description of either.

Detectives searched the area for surveillance footage and hoped to speak to any witnesses. The investigation is ongoing.
