Liberty police investigate the theft of 0,000 worth of Dodge Challengers from a local dealership



Thieves targeted the Crossroads Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Liberty around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, Nov. 3.

According to Capt. Elaine Taylor of the Liberty Police Department, the suspects broke a window to gain entry and accessed a secure lock box containing car keys. They then stole two Dodge Challengers, one gray and one green, both equipped with Scat Pack options. The stolen 2023 models are each worth approximately $60,000, which represents a significant loss to the dealer.

Liberty Police are actively investigating and reviewing surveillance footage from neighboring businesses in hopes of identifying the suspects and tracking the direction of the vehicles.
