Owners are devastated after their car crashes into their Endicott business

ENDICOTT (WBNG) – The owners of Food & Cafe in Endicott are panicking after a vehicle crashed into their business.

Around 8:45 pm on Sunday, owners Zakir Hussain and Gias Mollah were sitting at a table when the vehicle crashed in the side of the building.

No one was injured during the ordeal, but the building on Hayes Ave. 19 was seriously damaged.

The owners say they are doing everything they can to get the business running again.

The two said their dream is to be able to serve the community.

‘It’s bad. It’s so bad,” Mollah said. “We have been working on opening this store for eight months. Then we are here for two weeks and this happens.”

The Endicott Fire Department told 12 News that the walls of the building are in danger of collapsing.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
