Pulaski County officials are warning voters about election fraud

PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Pulaski County officials are telling voters to be aware of election scam texts that have been circulating lately.

The text reads: “According to our records, you did NOT vote early. Tomorrow is election day. Can the Future of America Count on You Voting? 1 p.m. 780 minutes. That’s how much time you have tomorrow to save our province. See you at the polls.”

Pulaski County Administrator Jonathan Sweet addressed the fake texts, saying:

“Our citizens must be aware of these types of misleading attempts. If in doubt, always contact your polling station and make sure you don’t let anything or anyone stand in your way of exercising your voting rights and responsibilities.”
