Sean “Diddy” Combs thanks his children for their support as they sing “Happy Birthday.”

If Sean “Diddy” Combs called on his 55th birthday in prison, his children shared their support for the hip-hop mogulaccused by the US government of operating a ‘criminal enterprise’ for decades.

In one Instagram video Monday shared jointly by Quincy Brown, Justin Dior Combs, Christian “King” Combs, Combing chance, D’Lila Combs, Jessie Combs and love combs, six of his seven children are seen sitting around a red velvet Bundt cake. As 2-year-old Love sings “Happy Birthday” to Sean Combs over the phone, her older siblings encourage her to finish the song.

“I love you all. I love you so much,” says Sean Combs on the other end of the line. “I can’t wait to see all of you. And I just want to say that I’m proud of all of you, especially the girls. I mean, all of you. Thank you for being strong. Thank you all for being so strong and thank you all for standing by my side and supporting me. I love you all, I have the best family in the world.

He continues: “My birthday, I’m happy. I want to thank you all for this call.”

The children promise to see their father ‘in a few days’. Daughter Chance Combs, who is absent from the celebration but participating via a call on another phone, also says she will see him “soon.”

This family video comes almost two weeks after four of the older Combs children shared a joint statement on social media saying they supported their father in light of his mounting criminal and legal problems.

“Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false stories that have grown into absurdity on social media. We stand united and support you every step of the way. Janice Smalls Combs, Sean Combs’ mother, also shared a statement in support of her son last month.

“It is heartbreaking to see my son not being judged based on the truth, but based on a story made up of lies,” Smalls Combs said. a note shared by her lawyer on Instagram. “Witnessing what appears to be a public lynching of my son before he had a chance to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court. to finally share his side and prove his innocence.”

“I’m not here to portray my son as perfect, because he isn’t. He has made mistakes in his past, as have we all. Combs’ attempts so far to be released from jail until his May 5 trial have been rejected. His lawyers are seeking an appeals court ruling that would overturn a case September 18 decides to deny his request to be released from jail on conditions that include a $50 million bond.
