JACKSON COUNTY, MI – A lawsuit accusing the Jackson County sheriff and jail staff of failing to house Muslim inmates during Ramadan has ended in dismissal.

United States District Judge Gershwin Drain signed an order on October 10 dismissing the lawsuit with prejudice after agreeing with the sheriff’s office that the claims in the lawsuit were insufficient to allow the case to proceed.
