Ravens emphasize quick recovery during a short week

Ravens emphasize quick recovery during a short week

Every AFC North team makes a trade

Ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline at 4 p.m., every AFC North team was in action.

The Browns were sellers, dealing defensive end Za’Darius Smith to the Lions, but the Steelers, Bengals and Ravens all added players.

Pittsburgh traded for wide receiver Mike Williams from the Jets and got defensive end Preston Smith from Green Bay. The Steelers have long been looking for another wide receiver, and they got one in the big Williams.

The Bengals expanded their strong offense by acquiring running back Khalil Herbert from the Bears. Herbert had a solid first three seasons in the league, but has just eight carries this season. The move comes as Cincinnati placed running back Zack Moss on injured reserve with a neck injury.

Baltimore made one of the final moves of the day, trading a 2026 seventh-round pick for a 2027 seventh-round pick and cornerback Tre’Davious White. White is a two-time Pro Bowler who could help the Ravens secondary.
