There’s a New Rocky Mural in Philadelphia With the Message ‘No Dumping’

A new Rocky mural has been painted a few doors down from where he lived in the films. But don’t let me paint the picture, let the sweet sounds of The Philly Captain tell you about it:

“New mewrull!” God, I love that accent. It reminds me of a soft pretzel and Classic Italian from Wawa with a raspberry iced tea.

The ‘No dumping’ sign is objectively hilarious. A mural with a message. We need more of it, especially in Kensington, where Cap, I have to say, is looking pretty clean. Maybe the mayor is cleaning it up. Anyway, I’d like to imagine that a contractor was about to dump some home scraps on a lot across the street until he looked up and saw the sun making a perfect silhouette on Rock and Adrian in their loving embrace and decided to dump illegally somewhere else. . More messages in the murals. We are a city full of them. The next time a Jalen Hurts goes upstairs, you might have a “No Smoking” or “Fuck the PPA” message. If I had the opportunity to create a mural, I would raise awareness of “taking the points” for Nick Sirianni. I would probably position it so it would hang on a wall so he could see it as he travels over the Walt Whitman Bridge on game day. If you remind him at any time that you can go up two scores late in the game, you should take advantage of that opportunity.
