“We are not trying to beat the dollar and there is no need to try to win over it. The dollar is one of the currencies of the world. This is the currency of one of the largest world economies. I regret say that the economy of this world, They probably made a mistake by their folly and began to weaponize the dollar. This is their mistake. They simply did not understand the consequences,” Peskov said.

Russia is not doing anything against the dollar, but is standing up for its interests, he noted. “We don’t do it against the dollar, we do it for ourselves, for our partners.
