Rockstar and Take-Two remain silent during the expected GTA 6 trailer 2 announcement

Take-Two doubled GTA 6’s release date to fall 2025, but it remains quiet on when the next trailer will debut.

GTA6 has been one of the most anticipated games for years, with fans eagerly awaiting the next installment of Rockstar’s open-world juggernaut. So much so, that some went to the company headquarters to look for clues.

While fans their first official look at GTA 6 Back in December 2023 with the game’s announcement trailer, Rockstar has remained mum ever since.

Now that the game is getting closer Release period autumn 2025Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, doubled down on its plans during its latest earnings call.

During the presentation, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick assured investors that the company expects substantial net bookings for fiscal 2026 thanks to its “most ambitious” development pipeline to date, putting fears of delay to rest for now.

However, Grand Theft Auto players are getting restless, especially as many believe the second trailer is imminent.

Some players were especially expecting an announcement to be made before the earnings callwhile others think they’ve spotted a plague in GTA Online and literally began monitoring the phases of the moon given previous hints from Rockstar.

Unfortunately for these players, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick didn’t share any additional details during the earnings call, so it’s anyone’s guess when more information about GTA 6 will be revealed.

December marks one year since the first GTA 6 trailer – and history could very well repeat itself as the title gets even closer to its release date.

GTA 6 is scheduled for release in Fall 2025.

At this time, Rockstar also hasn’t set an exact launch date, but that could be announced once the next trailer finally debuts.

In the meantime, former GTA 6 developer Ben Hinchliffe excited fans in a recent interview and claimed that VI’s realism will “blow people away.”

“I think Rockstar has raised the bar again, like they always do,” he said.
