Now that the US elections are over, it’s time to turn our attention to the next big thing: the holidays!

It’s still early in November, but the festive atmosphere is alive and well in the GTA and a number of holiday events are starting to pop up. There’s a lot on tap this weekend.

Menage Toronto Holiday Market

This holiday market kicks off Sunday at Stackt Market (28 Bathurst St.) with more than 30 vendors and makers from Barkada MRKT and Urban Makers Market, all under one roof. There will be swag bag giveaways as well as Asian-inspired dishes and treats. The market is open from 12:00 to 18:00. There is no entrance fee.

Two-day indoor pop-up by local MRKT

Located near Trinity Bellwoods Park at 837 Dundas St. W., just down the street from Kensington Market, shoppers are invited to hunt for artisan gems and grab a bite to eat. There is no entrance fee. The event lasts Saturday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Swifties scavenger hunt

The world’s biggest pop star and Canada’s largest museum combine to form an interactive game inspired by the lyrics of Taylor Swift, which takes visitors through all three floors of the Royal Ontario Museum in search of everything from her birthstone to beautiful works of art.

Dry October has turned into November with this unique festival on Saturday at the Henderson Brewery.
