Police are warning Northwest Side businesses after a string of late-night burglaries

CHICAGOChicago Police has issued a series of warnings to business owners burglaries and burglaries last month on the northwest side.

In each burglary, four to five suspects wearing dark clothing, face masks and gloves broke the business’ front glass door or side window, according to a CPD community alert. Once inside, the suspects focus on cash boxes and cash registers. They then flee the scene in a black Nissan Altima.

The burglaries occurred at the following times and locations.

  • Between 11:00 PM on October 26 and 8:00 AM on October 27 in the 5300 block of West Belmont Avenue.

  • Between 11:00 PM on October 26 and 8:00 AM on October 27 in the 5300 block of West Belmont Avenue

  • On October 27 at 2:55 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Montrose Avenue

  • Between 11:00 PM on October 26 and 3:00 AM on October 27 in the 3700 block of North Harlem Avenue

  • At 5:51 AM, at the 5100 block of West Diversey Avenue
