Midlothian stabbing: 2 teens stabbed, seriously injured during fight in 14500 block of Knox Avenue, police say

MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. (WLS) — A suspect is in custody after two youths were seriously injured in a stabbing in the southern suburbs on Friday evening, police said.

Midlothian police officers responded to the 14500 block of Knox Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. for a report of shots fired and possible stabbing victims.

Officers heard that there had been an argument between several people and two young people.

The two youths, who were stabbed with a knife, were taken to local hospitals in serious to critical conditions.

Officers have arrested a suspect. That person is being held at Midlothian Police Station for further investigation.

Detectives from Midlothian are investigating. The police could not immediately provide further information.
