Pop artist Ashley Longshore says she’s being shunned Miami’s Art Basel for three decades, “because they don’t consider me a commercial artist because I don’t give up 50% (of the sales),” she explained.

In fact, “Most art fairs… don’t allow me to participate because I’m representing myself… I’m their worst nightmare,” she told Page Six.

Longshore is a favorite among A-list celebrities like Salma Hayek and Blake Lively.

She has released her fourth book, ‘Giving the Bird’, a collection of bird paintings.

We met her at a signing session she organized at her gallery in Soho, together with her fashion friend Christian Siriano, who was also there who presents his latest book“The new red carpet.”

The duo joked that their dream collaboration would be “making jockstraps for Shawn Mendes.”

In the meantime, Longshore is preparing to head to Miami next month for her first art fair, after convincing AQUA Art to host her show from December 4 through December 8.

And the art fair world is in for something, she promises.

“I actually have $30,000 in $1 bills all over the floor. The whole installation is about financial independence, giving the middle finger to the king’s patriarchy,” she said, standing in front of a piece with a bewildered ‘No’ and middle finger.

She added that she flips the bird out of love. “I do it with joy…I don’t do it with anger. I do it because I work really hard, and I’m going to go out there and give them everything I’ve got! They will regret it,” she concluded.
