Ramsey man caught with more than £1,000 worth of cannabis

A Ramsey man has admitted trying to grow cannabis at his home.

Dewayne Alan Giles, aged 36 and from Close Caarjys in Ramsey, appeared before Deputy Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at the Douglas Courthouse.

He admitted three counts of supplying drugs and one of cultivating and possessing cannabis.

Police searched his home and found four young plants and £1,240 worth of the drug.

He was released on bail until his next appearance on November 26.
