Teacher’s assistant accused of assault

A White Oak teacher’s aide is facing charges after allegedly attacking a 5-year-old boy with special needs.

Amy Kevicki, 53, of North Huntington, was charged by the Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit with simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of children after an alleged incident on Nov. 11 following a ChildLine report at Francis McClure Elementary School.
