Some rain chances in the coming week

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Wednesday will start off warmer than Tuesday morning. Frost will still be possible early (especially in the Northwoods). Other than that, no fog is expected during the morning commute. Wednesday will see significantly more cloud cover than Tuesday, with highs in the low to mid 40s in the Northwoods and mid to upper 40s toward Highway 29 and south.

The best chance for rain Wednesday night into Thursday morning is for those south of Highway 29.

Showers are expected this evening and will continue until Thursday morning. In the Northwoods, rainfall is expected to be less than 0.25″. Further south there is a chance of rainfall as low as 0.25″ to 0.50″. The further southeast you live, the greater the rain potential.

It will clear on Friday before more clouds return this weekend. A few showers remain possible Saturday night into Sunday morning. There is still some uncertainty as to whether the rain will move through our area or further south toward Milwaukee or Chicago. If we get rain from Saturday night into Sunday, this rain would also be quite light.
