'DWTS' Star Sasha Farber Educates Jenn Tran's Ex Devin Strader Amid Dating Rumors

Sasha Farber knows what a name says.

The Dancing with the stars pro40, fired back at his dance partner Jenn Tran’s ex-fiancée, Devin Strader, after mocking his nickname. Tran, 26, and Farber have fueled dating rumors by regularly spending time together since their Tuesday, Oct. 29, elimination from the show.

“The name Sasha is short for Alexander,” Farber wrote via his Instagram Story on Monday, November 11, in response to Strader’s comment that Sasha was a ‘girl’s name.’

“You know who else had the same name, Alexander the Great!!!” Farber continued. “FYI .”

Farber’s etymology lesson came after Strader, 28, responded to an Instagram user’s comment on Saturday, November 10.

“Jenn has found a great guy, his name is Sasha,” someone wrote on one of Strader’s posts.

When another user wrote that Sasha is a common gender-neutral name, Strader wrote back, “Thanks…he’s literally half the man I am.”

Tran, 26, first met Strader during her season of The bachelorette. She offered him the final rose, but during the finale it was revealed that Strader had called off their engagement over the phone. She then met Farber back then they were paired for season 33 of the ABC series that follows her After the rose special.

For his part, Farber was married to a colleague Dancing with the stars pro Emma Slater from 2018 to 2024.
