Campaign for a ceasefire

Pastor Ransey O’Daniel, along with Christ Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa, is part of the “Ceasefire Campaign,” a joint effort between local churches and the Tuscaloosa Police Department to get people to put down their weapons.

They have a long list of priority topics, ranging from community initiatives to neighborhood watch programs and more education about gun laws. They also want to give young people positive role models.

Over the past few months we have seen the “Cease Fire Campaign” in action, going door to door talking to people and trying to prevent this through citywide revivals.
