Two arrested after serious assault on man (44) in Kinross

Two have been arrested after a man was seriously assaulted in Kinross.

The 44-year-old was taken to hospital after he was attacked at a property on Avenue Road at around 9.40pm on Friday (November 15).

It is clear that the man has been stabbed.

Two men, aged 26 and 37, have been arrested in connection with the incident after being stopped by police in Dundee at around 12.55pm on Saturday (November 16).

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.40pm we received a report of the serious assault of a 44-year-old man at a property on Avenue Road, Kinross.

“Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Investigating officers stopped a car in Myrekirk, Dundee at around 12.55pm on Saturday 16 November 2024 and two men aged 26 and 37 were arrested in connection with it. Investigations are ongoing.”
