Two arrested after assault Friday afternoon in Columbia

Columbia police arrested two people after an attack Friday afternoon.

At 2:30 p.m., someone called police to the 2800 block of Primrose Drive regarding an assault.

Officers found a man with life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics took him to hospital for treatment.

Around 7:30 p.m., officers arrested two people during a traffic stop.

They arrested Alexander Aklan, 28, of Columbia, for first-degree assault, armed criminal action, first-degree human trafficking and unlawful use of a weapon.

They arrested Felicia Hay, 33, of Columbia, for first-degree assault.
