Lancaster County man accused of multiple sex crimes against children: police

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster County man has been charged with several sex crimes against children in connection with a 2023 assault, according to Columbia Borough Police.

Robert Fink Jr., 43, was arrested on multiple sex crime charges, including statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.

Fink was arrested by Columbia Borough police after he allegedly assaulted a minor in the 900 block of Plane Street on Sept. 9, 2023, officials said.

Charging documents state that a 13-year-old girl was brought to the Columbia Police Department by her parents after reports of a sexual assault.

The victim told police she was at an apartment with Fink and his girlfriend on September 9 around 8 p.m. She stated that after Fink’s girlfriend left the apartment, Fink provided her with marijuana and began massaging the victim.

The victim continued to talk to police and stated that Fink then performed sex acts on her after being told “no.” Fink allegedly went further, removed the victim’s clothing and assaulted the victim.

The charging documents detail that DNA testing from the first attack matched the DNA profile taken from Fink during a search warrant.

He is awaiting a preliminary hearing on Nov. 19 while in the Lancaster County Jail.
