Apple AirPods Max rival sees price drop in Black Friday deal

Good quality headphones can be a real godsend, especially if you value good sound quality and cutting out annoying noises around you while you’re at the gym or on the road.

If you don’t want to pay hundreds of euros for the Apple AirPods Max but still want great quality sound, this Sennheiser pair may be the right way. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 wireless headphones come with some of the best sound quality on the market when it comes to wireless headphones thanks to the 42mm transducer system and aptX Adaptive.

You can pick them up for £179.99 on Amazon that is a price drop of almost 50%. I currently have a pair of these headphones and they are some of the best wireless headphones I’ve owned, with great sound quality and noise cancellation.

The battery life is also perfect with over 60 hours of listening time meaning you hardly have to worry about charging it. They work on Apple devices and Android devices, so you can use them on a wide range of products. If you change mobile phones in the future, switching between systems will not be a problem.

And it’s not just us who think so, as one reviewer said: “These headphones sound phenomenal and fit extremely comfortably and therefore get a clear 5-star rating. Personally, I’d drop a star for the touch controls.

“The controls generally seem to work fine, except for the volume control, which is hit or miss. But since I only use this for music and nothing else, the sound and comfort are 5 star (the other controls seem to work fine overall) work).

We – and other reviewers – noted that the Sennheiser software can be an issue with occasional bugs and issues. One reviewer echoed our concerns, saying, “The sound is great and they have a great soundstage for closed-back headphones.

“This is unfortunately let down by the software, particularly the ANC, which causes a hissing and buzzing noise in my left ear that sometimes gets so loud it’s almost painful. This can of course be avoided by not using the app – which is not the case. That is not necessary, because for me they are almost perfect and balanced.”

But if you want to spend a little less and fancy a decent pair of earbuds, you can get Sony WF-C700N from Argos for £89.99 which also have noise cancellation, so you can drown out unwanted noise. The rival Apple AirPods Max are also available to buy from EE for £449.
