Two people are injured in a vehicle crash on US-50 E

WALKER, W.Va. (WTAP) – According to Wood Co. 911 Dispatch, several calls came in starting at 8:03 a.m. Monday for a crash with possible entrapment on US-50 near mile marker 22.5.

Wood Co. Sheriff Rick Woodyard says the crash happened near Quarry Run Rd. in Wood Co., near the border of Wood and Ritchie counties.

Sheriff Woodyard says the vehicle was 30 feet behind the roadway’s guardrail.

Two people were injured in the accident and taken to hospital.

The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.

Agencies that responded to the crash include the Deerwalk Fire Department, the Wood Co. Sheriff’s Office and Camden Clark EMS.
