A $50,000 bond has been set for a Cleveland man accused of shooting at a barber

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The man accused of shooting a barber at an Urban Kutz Barbershop earlier this month pleaded not guilty during his arraignment in Cuyahoga County District Court on Monday.

Al Ferguson, 41, is charged with tampering with evidence, discharging a firearm on or near restricted areas and assault.

Ferguson was scheduled to enter the store in the 11100 block of Detroit Ave. on Sunday, Nov. 10. have walked in.

He didn’t have the money to pay for a haircut and during the confrontation, Ferguson allegedly pulled out a 9mm handgun and shot one of the barbers.

Ferguson also allegedly shot four to five times outside the business before fleeing.

No injuries were reported by police.

His next court hearing is scheduled for December 4.
