Conor McGregor’s fiancee, Dee Devlin, breaks silence on UFC star’s sexual abuse ruling

Conor McGregor’s fiancée broke her silence just days later mixed martial artist was found liable for sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel penthouse.

Dee Devlin, 37, took aim at McGregor’s accuser, Nikita Hand, in an Instagram Story series to inform On Tuesday afternoon, she said the surveillance footage “doesn’t lie” as she threw support behind him.

“Imagine a woman, with her own boyfriend and child, texting provocative photos of herself to the husband of another woman with a family and child on the way,” Devlin wrote. “This woman claims to know me, but still went ahead and sent messages and pictures of herself to my husband over and over again? Real?

“While I was on the road for three days, she texted apologies to her own child at home where mom is on Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening to Monday morning. All the while out of her sight in a hotel room, dancing around a hotel parking lot. What kind of WOMAN are you!!!”

“My sons will be warned that women like you exist in the world,” Devlin continued in another post.

Devlin claimed that surveillance footage contradicted Hand’s claims and suggested that she was the aggressor rather than McGregor.

“CCTV doesn’t lie. I look forward to the day when the world will see the images of you that night and how you behave. It doesn’t matter that you’re having the time of your life,” she wrote.

“This is the real proof: video footage that no one knew was being taken at the moment you miraculously can’t remember? To me, it looks like you’re the one being sexually assaulted in the elevator. To me it seems like everyone is trying to get away from you.”

In her latest post on her Instagram Story, Devlin defended McGregor and pledged her full support for him after she was found liable for assault during the sexual encounter.

“Conor and I addressed these issues privately many years ago, as any relationship should, and we have emerged stronger than ever. We now have four beautiful children whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who he is and who we are. They cast the first stone without sin,” she wrote.

Friday was the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion found liable after a jury in the civil case in Dublin, Ireland, found that he sexually assaulted Hand in a hotel penthouse after a night of partying on December 9, 2018.

Hand claimed McGregor ‘brutally raped and assaulted’ her and even threatened her life in a chokehold, leaving her badly bruised after the incident.

McGregor said in court that the two had consensual sex “athletic and powerful‘but not rough, and she’ never said ‘no’ or stopped.

“It’s a complete lie among many lies,” he said when asked about the chokehold accusation. How could anyone believe that I, as a proud person, would highlight my shortcomings.”

“Six years ago I should never have responded to her outreaches. I should have closed the party. I should never have left the woman in the world I love most. That’s all up to me.” wrote McGregor.

However, the fighter has maintained his innocence and claimed he plans to appeal the jury’s decision that awarded Hand approximately $257,000 for her lawsuit.

“As much as I regret it, everything that happened that night was consensual and all witnesses present swore to that under oath. I have instructed my legal team to appeal the decision. I can’t go back and I’m going forward,” he wrote.

After Friday’s jury decision, McGregor decided was dropped by Proper No. 12the Irish whiskey empire he helped build.

“Since 2021, Proximo Spirits is 100 (percent) owner of Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey,” says a spokesperson told TMZ. “Going forward, we do not intend to use Mr. McGregor’s name and likeness in the marketing of the brand.”

In 2021 McGregor and his partners sold their majority stake in the company to Proximo Spirits for $600 million.

His character and likeness were also removed from IO Interactive’s ‘Hitman’ video game series.

McGregor was scheduled to return at UFC 303 in June but was forced to withdraw after suffering a broken toe injury during training.

The UFC and its CEO, Dana White, have not commented on McGregor or the lawsuit since the jury’s decision.
