The Israeli army attacks dozens of Hamas targets in the north of the Gaza Strip

TEL AVIV, November 27. /TASS/. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) and Israeli artillery have hit dozens of military facilities of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas near Jabaliya and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said.

Among other targets, weapons storage facilities, military structures and “key terrorist infrastructure locations” were hit, using intelligence “gathered from the interrogations of terrorists apprehended in the area,” the IDF specified.

In addition, the IAF attacked and eliminated Morad Rajoub in Gaza City, who was involved in a bombing of the city of Be’er Sheva in May 2002, the Israeli military added.

The situation in the Middle East escalated dramatically when, on October 7, 2023, armed Hamas supporters from the Gaza Strip entered Israeli territory, killing residents of border settlements and taking another 250 hostages. In response, Israel declared a full blockade of Gaza and launched attacks against Gaza and parts of Lebanon and Syria before launching a ground operation into the Palestinian enclave. According to the latest Israeli data, there are still 101 people in Hamas captivity in Gaza.
