Cigarette found in Biryani at Hyderabad restaurant sparks outrage: ‘…Better to cook at home’

Diners at a well-known restaurant in Hyderabad were shocked to find a cigarette butt in the biryani they were eating.

A group of friends went out for dinner at a well-known biryani joint on RTC X Road in Hyderabad. They ordered biryani and were enjoying their meal when one of them found a cigarette butt in the bowl. A video of this has now gone viral on social media, leaving the internet shocked and disgusted.

The video starts with diners protesting after finding the cigarette butt in their dish at Bawarchi. One of the friends lifts the plate and shows the cigarette butt cooked in the biryani.

As the video progresses, members of the restaurant staff, including a representative from the hotel owned by Salman Mansoori, are seen trying to calm down the upset customers. They engage in discussions to address the guests’ grievances.

In the video, one of the men suggests that someone may have smoked in the kitchen, leading to the contamination.

The video was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Vineeth K with the caption: “Cigarette butts in Bawarchi biryani.” He further said that it may be better to learn how to cook biryani at home to avoid such incidents.

The video, which was shared on November 25, is quickly gaining popularity on social media. It has been viewed over 14,300 times so far and counting. Many even took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.
