‘Remember’…Luis Suarez sends message to Darwin Nunez on social media amid Liverpool setback

Luis Suarez has sent a message to Darwin Nunez amid the Liverpool striker’s latest problems at Liverpool.

Darwin Nunez struggled again for Liverpool this weekend and came under scrutiny after missing another chance in a key match.

The criticism saw Nunez delete all his Liverpool-related posts on his Instagram account in a mysterious message.

The Liverpool striker’s intentions are unclear. However, it is obvious that things are not going exactly as he would like.

Amid this crisis, Luis Suarez, a former Liverpool legend, sent Nunez a timely message on social media.

While things were bleak for Nunez this weekend, Luis Suarez was in the form of his life as he continued Inter Miami’s brilliant start to MLS.

The former Liverpool striker also scored his 500th professional goal in the match, and Nunez took to social media to congratulate him on the feat.

Nunez’s post on X below Suarez’s post saw him describe the Liverpool legend as his idol.

Suarez then responded with his own message for the Liverpool striker.

The message essentially translates to the following: “Thank you scorer for always being there! Always remember POSITIVE and looking forward!

It’s nice to see Suarez supporting Liverpool’s number nine so much. Nunez may be struggling at Liverpool at the moment.

But he has shown enough in recent seasons to get Liverpool fans excited for the future.

Nunez has the potential to be a top-class striker and follow Suarez’s place. The perfect example of this is the fact that Suarez only scored 11 goals in his second season at Liverpool in the Premier League.

That’s exactly the number Nunez is on right now. Suarez went on to score 23 and 31 goals in his next two seasons.
